The simple future refers to a time later than now, something that will happen later. The simple future is used mostly to talk about something that is expected to happen: "It will rain tomorrow", "I will do the dishes".
“The future depends on what you do today."
― Mahatma Gandhi (Indian statesman)

“The past is always tense, the future perfect.”
― Zadie Smith (British author)
Remember that the future tense is often shortened with an apostrophe, like this:-

I will = I'll
We will = we'll
You will = you'll
He will = he'll
She will = she'll
They will = they'll
Will not = won't

Play around with these magnets to make 2 sentences in the future tense (click on the blue OPEN THE ACTIVITY  box at the bottom of the new page).
